We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and start our tour by visiting Mtskheta and see it’s historical monuments that are on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Samtavro Nunnery. After strolling around these amazing historical places we will have lunch at towns one of the restaurants and will continue the tour driving up to Shio Mgvime Monastery, which is located in a beautiful forest place on the left bank of the river Mtkvari. The road follows a narrow limestone canyon from the main square of Mtskheta.
Will drive back to Tbilisi later in the evening and drop you back off to your hotel.
We will have nice, enjoyable day trip planed for you to explore Georgia’s history and culture.
