Tour of Lagodekhi National Park
Private Tour Introduction:
At this three days trip we will introduce you the picturesque region of Georgia – Kakheti, and along with its cultural and historical sights we will visit Lagodekhi National Park which is one of the world’s best-preserved, primitive area with diversity of natural landscapes, located in the extreme north-eastern part of the southern slopes of the Caucasus and extends at an altitude of 590-3500 m.
We will start our tour by visiting Telavi, Gremi, have wine tasting at Kindzmarauli and Khareba wineries and arrive in Lagodekhi later in the evening. We will have next day to explore Nature reserved area, spend another night there and drive back to Tbilisi on the third day and on the way stop in Sighnaghi, the city of love and the Royal Town, making stop at Bodbe Monastery, which according to the legend is a burial place of St. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity in the 4th century. Arrive back to your hotel later in the evening.

Tour Highlights:
Day 1.
We will pick you up from your hotel. Drive to Telavi through Gombori pass. Have a short walk through charming streets of old Telavi and have a photo stop at the monument of Erekle the II.
Continue to drive to the Gremi Monastery and castle, the one of the most visited tourist points in Georgia. Stop to see Nekresi Monastery – situated on top of a steep hill overlooking the Alazani valley, the complex contains various ecclesiastical buildings built at different times and a wine cellar.
Visit at winery Kindzmarauli Corporation in Kvareli and have lunch by the sight. Will continue to see another amazing winery-tunnel “Khareba” – originally built for military purposes, today the tunnel is used to store Khareba’s finest wines, have wine tour and wine tasting.
Will arrive at Lagodekhi later in the evening. Overnight in Lagodekhi.
Day 2.
After breakfast we will start tracking towards Ninoskhevi waterfall. The route starts from the Gurgeniani Information Center and follows the Ninoskhevi River on a narrow path. Visitors can see the centuries old lime tree, springs coming out of rocks and several natural compositions along the rivers. We will take a rest at the designated picnic sites.The sound of the river, the little waterfalls, huge stones, and cool breeze wandering through the valley make the trip both highly entertaining and adventurous. After few hours of tracking,we will arrive at a beautiful sight of a 40 m long Ninoskhevi waterfall which is one of the most beautiful in Georgia.
We will spend another night in Lagodekhi.
Day 3.
After breakfast we will leave the national park and drive to Sighnaghi, city located at one of the crossroads of the Great Silk Road surrounded by defensive walls with 23 towers. Before we depart to Tbilisi make a stop at Bodbe Monastery, the complex functions as a nunnery since XIX century.
We will get back to Tbilisi at the end of the day, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
